MBBS Admission Russia 2019 | Procedure And Guidelines

Students who want to take admission in Russian Medical University or any higher education should go through the instructions given below.

Step 1: Filling up the application form

An application form is to be filled by the student to apply for desired University.

1. Application form (given by DARS EDUCATION);
2. Copy of your passport (pages with the photo, date of birth and passport expiry date);
3. Certificate of complete higher secondary education with academic transcript for undergraduate programs / high education degree with academic transcript for post graduate programs.

Step 2: Receiving the admission letter

An admission letter will be received by DARS EDUCATION from the Russian Medical / Engineering University after the application has been accepted, confirming the reservation of a seat for the student at the University and in certain cases the invoice to remit the fees.

NOTE: As the seats are limited in any of the university the allotment is done strictly on a first come first served basis, subject to the final decision of the University/Academy.

The marks obtained in the 12th standard (in case of the MBBS student). The passing of the degree course along with the completion of the internship for the postgraduate students.

Step 3: Receiving visa invitation letter

After confirmation of admission by the university, the Department of Federal Migration Service of the Russian Federation starts the process of issuing the official “invitation letter for study” (according to the application submitted by the university).

It takes the Department of Federal Migration Service of the Russian Federation approximately 35 to 45 days to issue the official invitation letter for study.

Step 4 : Stamping the Visa on Passport

Upon receiving the “invitation letter for study” the student should refer to the Embassy/General Consulate of the Russian Federation in his/her country in order to apply for a student visa. Usually, the following documents are required:

1. Valid passport;
2. Duly completed and signed visa application form;
3. Two passport size identical photos 35 mm x 45 mm with white background;
4. Visa support letter from university or college and a copy of the admission letter from the university or college;
5. AIDS certificate (HIV test)

Step 5: Departing to Russia

After receiving the stamped visa the student can prepare himself to depart to Russia prior to one month from the expiring date.

In line with the requirements for higher studies in Russia or any foreign country, International students should get their educational testimonials (mandatory) suitably apostilled and attested in their home country.

Guidelines For Travelling To Russian Federation

MBBS Admission Russia Procedure | Eligibility Criteria 2019

1. The student shall complete the age of 17 years on or before 31st December of the year of admission.
2. The candidate must secure 50% marks in their 12th standard in Science stream (PCM) in CBSE / ISC or any other Equivalent Board of Examination.
3. As per the latest notification issued by MCI in accordance with the decision taken by Delhi High Court, students aspiring to enroll in Foreign Medical Universities in 2019, and did not qualify / register / appear in NEET 2019; should produce an Eligibility Certificate issued by Medical Council of India at the time of admission / MBBS in Russia or in any Foreign Medical Universities.

MBBS in Russia | Documents required to be carried along to Russia:

1. Passport (valid for not less than 2 years);
2. Student entry visa;
3. Immigration Card (supplied during the flight or at the airport, it must be completed by the student and stamped by customs in the airport right after arrival in Russia);
4. Medical health certificate including a chest X-Ray result.
5. Negative AIDS test result.
6. 12 passport size (3×4 cm) Colored photograph with white background.
7. Certificate of complete higher secondary education with an academic transcript for undergraduate programs /higher education degree with the academic transcript for postgraduate programs
